Should I be worried about the Chile Earthquake upcoming Tsunamis?

I hope we have all heard about the 8.8 Earthquake that struck Chile. As a result to that, it may cause Tsunamis to hit the Pacific Coast of USA. I live in the southern coast of California. I am located about 3 miles from the beach, should I be worried?? I mean I can get to the beach like in 10 minutes by normal off-highway streets.

you shouldn’t be worried at all. the tsunami is supposed to hit hawaii but it’ll hardly be anything, just waves going crazy just like here in southern california. I’m more concerned about my family in chile whom we havent been able to connect with
