Where can a Firefighter/EMT use skills charitably? IE:disaster relief?
I am a Firefighter/EMT not currently associated with a department.
Where can I find information about using my skills to help those in need?
These answers, while well meaning, really don’t answer the question.
try carrying out an effective internet search that uses both inverted commas and plus signs. like this.
charity+usa+"disaster relief"+fire
or replace usa with the name of your state.. or country
"disaster relief"+emt+skilled+charitable
or
"fire fighter"+emt+skills+"disaster relief"
or alternatively check out the newspapers when disaster stories happen and see who is mentoned in the stories..
ie who co-ordinated the search and rescue etc…

You can also try those flight services that fly cancer patients. Sometimes the pilot needs extra help on board.
