Hurricane Isabel Storm Chase and Richmond VA Damage Survey

Hurricane Isabel caused extensive and unexpected inland damage across Virginia on September 18, 2003. This video shows my storm chase to the North Carolina border to intercept the eye-wall remnants in daylight. The famous tree falling footage is shown (at approx 1 min 30 sec). The video then shows my adventure northward dodging fallen trees on Interstate 95. There is also a damage survey of Richmond, Virginia the following day. What is the hurrican season and does hurricanes comes in Miami?

If yes, how often what storm category does it usually be. Is there a websites where I can get info. on hurricanes.

Yes, hurricanes can affect all of Florida, the season is technically June 1 through November 30, and here is the National Hurricane Center’s site: http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/
